  • "I think the price of oil in 2010 will grow at the same level as that currently between 70 and 80 dollars if the global economy is improving compared to what it is today," said Khelil on the sidelines of a study day on energy, according to the Algerian agency APS. Oil prices "are currently supported by expectations of recovery" of the global economy in 2010, said Khelil.
  • This recovery remains "uncertain", especially in some European countries that currently face serious problems, added the minister. Falling global crude inventories from 61 days to 58 days now indicates that global consumption has increased, driven by demand in India, China and the Middle East, said Mr Khelil.
