Invited to a conference by the party of the National Republican Alliance (ANR), Mr. Moukagni said that "the Saharawi question is an African question," saying that Africa must get rid of the legacy of colonialism including those related to Conflicts.
At the head of a Gabonese delegation to the meeting, the President of PUPG, stressed that Africa must play an active role in the resolution of conflicts it knows in particular the Saharawi conflict which has lasted too long, stressing that the self-determination referendum is "a basic right for the Saharawi people".
Mr. Moukagni stressed that the Saharawi State has all the markings of a state but it is subject to a colonialism that robs its lands, adding that the (Saharawi) state "is a reality that we must not ignore if we as Africans work for a better future for the continent."
