4.2 magnitude earthquake hits Blida province

ALGIERS- A 4.2 magnitude earthquake hit, on Thursday, August, 13th, 2020 at 09:04 a.m, the province of Blida, reported Ennaher TV citing the CRAAG’ statement published on the body’s official Facebook page.

The tremor was recorded, on Thursady, near the locality of Ain Roumana, in the wilaya of Blida, said the Center of research in astronomy, astrophysics and geophysics (CRAAG).

The earthquake was felt at 09:04 a.m, while its epicenter was located 4 km Southwest of Ain Roumana, further indicated the CRAAG.

Earlier this week, a 4.3 magnitude earthquake hit the province of Tipaza. The tremor was recorded near the locality of Sidi Ghiles, in the wilaya of Tipaza.
