ALGIERS- The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune has appointed Abdelhafid Alahoum, new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria in Budapest (Republic of Hungary), as of November 21, 2022. The Presidential Decree on his official appointment has been published in the Official Gazette number 83, of December 11, 2022.
The new diplomatic representative of Algeria in the aforementioned Eastern European country served as a deputy from 1982 to 1989. He assumed the duties of adviser to the President Tebboune until early fall season.
