Cervantes Institute of Algeria launches photography competition

ALGIERS – A contest of the most original photo taken at home, in direct link with Spain, was launched by the Cervantes Cultural Institute of Algeria, announces the institute.

Entitled “España Men Darna” (Spain from my house), the competition rewards the best photos “taken from the house or the place of confinement, under the general theme of memory and knowledge of the Spanish language and culture “.

While giving free rein to their creativity, participants can “use any object awakening the memory” of this Mediterranean country, among the most bereaved in the world by the pandemic of the new coronavirus, and “accompany the photo with a title and or ‘an explanatory text “.

The photos should be shared on the institute’s pages on social media starting as of Monday.

The rules of the competition and the terms of participation are available on the Facebook pages of the Cervantes Institute and the Embassy of Spain in Algeria.
