Prices of kilogram of bananas will not exceed 250 dinars soon

Banana imports are no longer subject to licensing. This is the announcement made yesterday, Sunday, November 25, by the Ministry of Commerce. This announcement follows a surge in prices of this highly consumed fruit, reaching 800 AD per kilogram.

Today, the Minister of Commerce, Said Djellab, explains this new measure which aims, according to him, to regulate the banana market, which was, until now, subject to speculation on prices. For him, the prices of this fruit will experience a sharp decline.

“The prices of the kilogram of bananas will not exceed 250 dinars soon,” he said.
