AU: Algiers to host 3rd Specialized Technical Committee on Youth, Culture and Sports

The African Union’s 3rd Specialized Technical Committee on Youth, Culture and Sports (STC-YCS3) will be held from 21 to 25 October at the Palace of Nations, in Algiers, said Saturday a communiqué of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Co-organized by the African Union (AU), the MJS and the Ministry of Culture under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, this session will be an opportunity to highlight the expected results of the implementation of programs and strategies adopted under the auspices of the AU, particularly in the areas of sport, youth and culture, the source said.

This session will bring together, from 21 to 24 October, experts from ministries responsible for youth, culture and sport from all AU member states.

On Thursday, October 25, a meeting of Ministers of Youth, Sports and Culture will be held in the presence of Mohamed Hattab, Minister of Youth and Sports and Azzedine Mihoubi, Minister of Culture, concluded the statement.
