Arms cache, containing two cartridge clips and ammunition, was destroyed, Wednesday in Skikda (510-km east of Algiers), in a combing operation by an Army detachment, the ministry of National Defense said in a statement.
As part of the fight against terrorism, a detachment of People’s National Army discovered and destroyed, on April 04, 2018 in Skikda, a casemate containing (02) loaders of ammunition, (78) bullets of different calibres, (02) pairs of binoculars, two (02) photovoltaic plates, (07) mobile phones, (02) generators, as well as quantities of food, medicines, clothes and various objects.
As part of the fight against organized crime, a detachment of the ANP seized, in Tamanrasset, a truck loaded with (3400) liters of fuel intended for smuggling, while elements of the National Gendarmerie have seized (1306) units of different beverages in Biskra.
On the other hand, a detachment of ANP intercepted (49) illegal immigrants of different nationalities in In Salah.
