The eighth (8) edition of the North Africa Oil and Gas Conference- Exhibition opened, on Sunday in Oran, in a ceremony chaired by the Minister of Finance Energy, Mustapha Guitouni.
The event, which runs until March 28th in progress, dedicated to the various activities of the oil and gas industry, has the participation of some forty countries, with the presence of major international oil and energy companies, both of which Algerian companies, Sonatrach and Sonelgaz, alongside international groups; such as Total, Repsol and Statoïl.
Initiated by an event agency under the slogan “Success, challenges and vision”, this economic event includes scientific and technical conferences and workshops on all petrochemical activities in the North African region, as well as an exhibition with participation of more than 500 exhibitors.
The energy concerns of the day, the oil market, the energy transition and new technologies in this area are at the heart of this meeting, which also wants to be a forum for exchanging experiences and knowledge and an opportunity to business in the oil field.
Experts and academics will take part in this event which proposes, on the menu, panels devoted to the promotion of the innovation of the young promoters activating in oil field and gas industry.
