In this aspect, “detachments of ANP “arrested, in In-Salah and Bordj Badji Mokhtar (6th MR), three (3) smugglers and seized (32,160) pharmaceutical units, a truck loaded with (3,900) liters of kitchen oil and six (6) tons of smuggled food “.
In addition, and during an operation conducted in coordination with the security services of the province of El-Tarf (5th MR), elements of the National Gendarmerie “discovered a workshop containing (825) cartridges of different calibers, knives and detonation substances, while nine (9) shotguns, (5,670) cartridges and a quantity of black powder were seized by elements of the National Gendarmerie in Mila (5th MR) ” .
As part of the fight against illegal emigration, eight (08) illegal immigrants of different nationalities were apprehended in Djanet, Relizane and Tlemcen, ” the statement concluded.
