ALGIERS- The work of the 7th session of political consultations between Algeria and Argentina took place, on Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, as part of the strengthening of bilateral relations, said a statement from the ministry.
“As part of the strengthening of bilateral relations between Algeria and Argentina and with a view to giving a new dynamic to cooperation between the two countries, the work of the 7th session of political consultations between the two countries took place in headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad,” the statement said.
The Algerian delegation was chaired by the Ambassador Mohamed Berrah, Director General of American affairs at the Ministry, while the Argentine delegation was chaired by Mr. Claudio Javier Rozencwaig, Undersecretary in charge of Foreign Policy at the Ministry of Foreign Relations, International Trade and Worship, added the same source.
The two parties took this opportunity to examine the means of strengthening bilateral relations and promoting them at the highest levels, taking into account the common interests and the significant potentialities of the two countries.
They also welcomed the holding of this political consultation session “which should give new impetus to bilateral cooperation at all levels”.
The two officials also affirmed the readiness of their countries to continue and strengthen political dialogue, and agreed on the imperative of intensifying high-level visits between the two countries, in addition to holding new sessions of the Intergovernmental Committee and the Bilateral Scientific Committee at the start of next year,” the statement concluded.
