ALGIERS- The Qatari reciter, Ghanem Al-Muftah, is scheduled to recite verses from the Holy Qur’an during the opening ceremony of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, slated for Sunday, November 20, 2022.
The Conqueror of Disabilities Ghanem has been chosen by the State of Qatar to be the official ambassador of the tournament hosted by Qatar for the first time in the Arab region, from November 21 to December 18.
In this vein, one of the tweeters said: “The opening of the World Cup will be with fragrant verses from the Holy Qur’an read by the hero Ghanem the key The opening of the world’s largest forum with the Holy Qur’an is something that calls for pride, pride and loftiness.
Another added: “Qatar invites the preacher Zakir Naik to the World Cup to give lectures and invite fans to Islam, and the opening of the World Cup will be with verses from the Holy Qur’an recited by the Qatari owner of determination.”

Who is Qatari reciter, Ghanem Al-Muftah?
Ghanim Al-Muftah was born on May 5-2002. He was born with a rare condition known as Caudal Regression Syndrome (CDS). However, rather than allowing the condition to stunt his life, he has learned to overcome obstacles with positivity and leadership, this is what makes him an exceptional and inspiring character. He is currently pursuing his university degree, majoring in political sciences with an overarching goal of becoming a diplomat. Despite his disability, Ghanim enjoys participating in extreme sports, such as; scuba diving, skateboarding, and rock climbing.
