According to a joint statement released by Israel’s finance and interior ministries on Wednesday, based on the deal, expected to be officially signed by both parties in February, China will send around 6,000 workers to Israel over a six-month period in an attempt to solve housing crisis.
“The Chinese workers will reduce construction time, and bring down prices for the benefit of the public,” said Israeli Housing and Construction Minister Uri Ariel.
