Algeria’s APN takes part in 1st congress on “smart villages” in Alicante

ALGIERS – The People’s National Assembly (APN) will take part, on Thursday in Alicante (Spain), in the opening session of the first congress on “smart villages”, organized by the Assembly of Mediterranean Citizens Foundation (FACM), said a statement from the Lower House of Parliament.

The APN will be represented, at this congress, by MP Abdelwahab Yakoubi, in his capacity as a permanent member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (APM), the statement added.

The participants in this congress will address the notion of “intelligent villages” which has gradually appeared in European countries, and highlight the models of use of digital technologies in Mediterranean rural areas.
