Air Algérie: Additional flight to Moscow

ALGIERS- The national airline Air Algerie announced, in a press release posted on its official Facebook page, an additional flight to Moscow, every Tuesday.

Air Algérie announced the programming of an additional flight to Moscow every Tuesday, in addition to its weekly flight scheduled for Friday.

According to a Meta post by Air Algérie on its official page, on Friday, following the decisions of the public authorities regarding the promotion of the international flight program, Air Algérie is pleased to inform you that an additional flight to Moscow has been scheduled every Tuesday, in addition to the scheduled flight every Friday.

On Sunday, Air Algerie announced the resumption of its flights to Africa. These are connections to and from Dakar, Nouakchott, Niamey, pending Abidjan, Bamako and Ouagadougou in September.

A decision which comes in application of the decision of President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, which provides for the strengthening of air transport during the 2022 summer season.

Earlier, the Ministry of Transport announced, in a press release, the supplementary program for Air Algerie flights to various international destinations, which entered into force on August 10.

“In application of the decision of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to strengthen the current program of Air Algerie flights to international destinations, the Ministry of Transport announced the supplementary program for Air Algerie flights to various international destinations, which came into force on August 10, 2022,” the statement read.

The new program is distributed as follows:

1- On the European network:

Algiers – Istanbul – Algiers: seven (07) more flights to reach (14) flights per week.

Constantine – Istanbul – Constantine: reopening with two (02) flights per week.

Annaba – Istanbul – Annaba: reopening with two (02) flights per week.

Oran – Istanbul – Oran: reopening with two (02) flights per week.

Algiers – Vienna – Algiers: reopening with two (02) flights per week.

Algiers – Lisbon – Algiers: reopening with two (02) flights per week.

Algiers-Frankfurt-Algiers: one (01) more flight per week to reach six (06) flights per week, including two (02) flights for “Tassili” Airlines.

2- On the Maghreb and Middle East network:

Algiers- Tunisia – Algiers: seven (07) more flights per week to reach (14) flights per week.

Algiers – Doha – Algiers: two (02) more flights per week.

3- On the African network:

Algiers – Abidjan – Algiers: reopening with (01) flights per week.

Algiers – Ouagadougou – Algiers: reopening with (01) flight per week.

Algiers – Niamey – Algiers: reopening with two (02) flights per week.

Algiers – Bamako – Algiers: reopening with (01) flight per week.

Algiers – Libreville – Algiers: reopening with (01) flight per week.

Algiers – Dakar – Algeria: one (01) more flight per week to reach three (03) flights per week.

Finally, the statement indicated that the President of the Republic also ordered the opening of airlines to South Africa, Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) and the Republic of the Congo.
