ALGIERS- Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, in his capacity as Special Envoy of President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, will arrive, on August 10, in Azerbaijan, according to a communiqu” issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
As part of his visit, FM Lamamra will hold a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov. After the meeting the parties will hold a joint briefing.
Besides, the head of Algerian diplomacy will be received by the country’s high authorities, with whom he will discuss bilateral relations, as well as other regional and international issues of common interest.
A member of OPEC+, the Republic of Azerbaijan chairs the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) until the end of 2023 and takes part in the work of the Forum of Gas Explorer Countries (GEPF).
