(SPS) – The Permanent Office of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front expressed, in a statement issued following the meeting held on Thursday, its strong condemnation of the terrible massacre committed by the Moroccan occupation state against sub-Saharan migrants who attempted to enter the enclave of Melilla.

The Office considered the massacre committed against sub-Saharan migrants a full-fledged crime, similar to those committed, in secret, by the same perpetrator against the defenseless Sahrawi civilians since its invasion of Western Sahara in October 1975.

The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, chaired, on Thursday, a meeting of the Permanent Office of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, at the Presidency of the Republic. The meeting examined, analysed and evaluated developments in the national issue as well as various projected internal and external entitlements.

The meeting touched on the positions and measures necessitated by the challenges at the current stage as a result of the resumption of the armed struggle. (SPS)
