Maputo (Mozambique), (SPS) – The Saharawi President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, was received, on Monday, by the Mozambican President, Mr. Felipe Nyusi, at the presidential palace in Maputo.
The two presidents discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing and promoting them to the highest levels in the interest of the two brotherly peoples and countries.
The two presidents also reviewed the latest developments related to the Sahrawi issue, especially following the resumption of the armed struggle in November 2020.
Moreover, the two presidents discussed issues of common interest at the regional and international levels.
The meeting was attended on the Sahrawi side by Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nana Labat Rasheed, Adviser to the Presidency of the Republic, Abdati Abreika, Adviser to the Presidency of the Republic, and Wadadi Ahmed Heiba, Ambassador to Mozambique. On the Mozambican side, it was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Veronica Macamo, and the Political Adviser to the Mozambican Presidency.
