ALGIERS- The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, received, on Monday, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mohammed Abdullah Mabdul, who paid him a courtesy visit at the end of his mission in Algeria, said a press release from the ministry.
On this occasion, the Nigerian ambassador expressed “his deep gratitude to the Algerian authorities and people for their hospitality and generosity as well as all the facilitations provided throughout his mission in Algeria”, the statement added.
Mr. Mabdul also welcomed the “privileged relations” uniting Algeria and Nigeria, both bilaterally and multilaterally, in addition to the promising prospects for cooperation between the two countries in various fields, highlighting “their pioneering role” at the continental level, particularly in terms of economic development, energy and the fight against terrorism, the statement concluded.
