Trans-Saharan road: 73rd session of Trans-Saharan Road Liaison Committee to be held in Algiers

ALGIERS- Algeria will host, next Monday and Tuesday, the 73rd session of the Trans-Saharan Road Liaison Committee (CLRT) at ministerial level, a statement from the Ministry of Public Works said on Saturday.

ALGIERS- Algeria will host, next Monday and Tuesday, the 73rd session of the Trans-Saharan Road Liaison Committee (CLRT) at the ministerial level, a statement from the Ministry of Public Works said on Saturday.

“In order to establish the trans-Saharan road as an economic corridor, Algeria will host, on June 27 and 28, the works of the 73rd session of the CLRT,” the statement added.

This 73rd session, whose opening will be chaired by the Minister of Public Works, Kamel Nasri, will see the participation of ministers from the countries concerned by this strategic road, namely; Tunisia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Chad, as well as as national and international financial institutions, in the presence of the ambassadors of the member countries, concluded the communiqué.
