Upper House of Parliament partakes in AIPU’ 33rd Extraordinary Conference

ALGIERS- The Council of the Nation will take part, on Saturday in Cairo, in the works of the 33rd Extraordinary Conference of the Arab Interparliamentary Union (AIPU) to discuss the situation experienced by the Palestinian people on their occupied land, said Thursday a press release from the Advice.

“Instructed by Salah Goudjil, Speaker of the Council of the Nation, and in his capacity as representative of the Speaker of the Council of the Nation, the President of the parliamentary group of the presidential third, Saad Arous, accompanied by the President of the Foreign Affairs Committee, international cooperation and the Algerian community abroad, Abdelmadjid Benkeddache, are taking part in the works of the 33rd Extraordinary Conference of the Arab Interparliamentary Union (UIPA)” slated for Saturday in Cairo.

This Conference, in which Arab Heads of State and Members of Parliament are taking part, is themed: “The Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Muslim and Christian Holy Places: Our First Priority”.

The meeting will address the situation of the Palestinian people in their occupied land, following the repeated violations and the dangerous Zionist escalation targeting the Muslim and Christian holy sites in Al-Quds”, concluded the same source.
