ALGIERS- The trial of the former wali of Mostaganem Abdelhamid Temmar alongside thirty-plus other defendants began, Thursday, at the economic and financial penal pole of the Tribunal of Sidi M’Hamed (Algiers).
Temmar, who also held the post of Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, is being prosecuted in corruption cases, in particular for abuse of office, misappropriation of land from their agricultural vocation and granting undue privileges when he was wali of Mostaganem .
