ALGIERS- The trial of the former Minister of Justice, Keeper of Seals, Tayeb Louh and Tarek-Noah Kouninef, began, on Monday, at the financial and economic criminal pole in the tribunal of Sidi M’hamed (Algiers).
Taieb Hashemi in his capacity as former Inspector General of the Ministry of Justice, is also being prosecuted in this case.
Tayeb Louh is being prosecuted in this case for several charges, including, in particular, breach of trust, influence peddling and obstruction of the proper conduct of justice.
As a reminder, the same trial was adjourned on January 24 due to the lawyers’ strike, and on February 21 due to the absence of defense collective of Louh for health reasons (contamination with Covid-19).
