Sidi M’hamed tribunal: Trial of former Minister of Housing Temmar adjourned due to his hospitalization


ALGIERS – The Economic and Financial Penal Pole of the tribunal of Sidi M’hamed (Algiers) decided on, Thursday, to adjourn the trial of the former Minister of Housing and Town Planning, Abdelwahid Temmar, to Feb 24th.

This adjournment comes at the request of the defense, due to the main defendant who is hospitalized given his infection with the Covid-19.

Abdelwahid Temmar is being prosecuted in a corruption case for “abuse of office, squandering of public land, embezzlement of lands and granting undue advantages when he was wali of Mostaganem “.

Businessmen are also being prosecuted in this case.
