ALGIERS- The Bureau of the People’s National Assembly (APN), on Thursday, set the schedule of its work, deciding to resume, on January 24 and 25, the plenary sessions which will be devoted to the examination of two bills relating to the Algerian Academy of Science and Technology and the setting of the missions of the National Council for Scientific Research and Technology (CNRST).
At the end of a meeting chaired by Brahim Boughali, Speaker of the APN, the office specified “having decided to resume, on January 24 and 25, the plenary sessions devoted to the examination and debate of the bill fixing the organization, composition, operation and missions of the Algerian Academy of Science and Technology and the bill n 20-01 of March 30, 2020 fixing the missions, composition and organization of the National Council for Scientific Research and Technology (CNRST).
“The session of January 27, 2022 will be devoted to oral questions while that of January 31, 2022 to the vote on the two bills”, added the same source.
After approval of the minutes of the meeting of January 3, 2022, the office examined “the amendment proposals concerning the draft organic law relating to the judicial organization, the draft organic law amending and supplementing organic law N 98 -01 relating to the competences, organization and functioning of the Council of State, and a draft law amending and supplementing Ordinance N71-57 of August 05, 1971 relating to legal aid, and decided to submit them to the committee responsible for consideration”.
Finally, the office examined the requests submitted by certain standing committees, relating to temporary inspection missions and field visits.
