Algerian, Egyptian’ strong strategic partnership highlighted


ALGIERS- The newly-appointed Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Algiers, Mokhtar Gamil Tawfik Warida said, on Wednesday, that the new Egypt and the new Algeria were confident about the establishment of a strong strategic partnership.

Taking into account the strong and anchored relations uniting the two countries, “the new Egypt and the new Algeria are confident about the establishment of a strong strategic partnership in all fields and at all levels”, specified the diplomat in a statement to the press at the end of the meeting granted to him by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to whom he submitted his credentials accrediting him as Ambassador of Egypt in Algeria, indicating that this partnership “underlies a deep respect” and is intended for “the development and the progress of two peoples”.

Recalling that he had transmitted to President Tebboune the feelings of brotherhood and friendship of his brother, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, who is planning a meeting soon with his Algerian counterpart, the Egyptian diplomat praised “the strong, historical, close ties “binding the two nations and characterized by” depth and friendship in the political, economic, military, social, artistic and popular spheres”.

In addition, Mr. Warida expressed Cairo’s “consideration” for Algeria’s role in supporting “security and stability at the Arab, African and international levels”, estimating that “Algeria is strong and is able to consolidate common Arab action through the next Arab Summit “.
