Head of Tunisian government wraps up visit to Algeria

ALGIERS- The Head of Government of the Republic of Tunisia, Najla Bouden, wrapped up her one-day working visit to Algeria, punctuated by talks on topical issues with the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, along with senior state officials.

Ms. Bouden was seen off on her departure from Houari-Boumediene International Airport by the Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Aïmene Benabderrahmane, and Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra.

During this visit, President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Thursday, received the head of the Tunisian government, Najla Bouden. The meeting took place in the presidency of the Republic, “in the presence of Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Aïmene Benabderrahmane, the minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, and the chief of cabinet of the presidency of the Republic, Abdelaziz Khellaf.”

In addition, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Aïmene Benabderrahmane held, on the same day, discussions with the head of Government of Tunisia. The meeting took place in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamara, and his counterpart, Othman Jerandi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad.

The Head of the Tunisian Government arrived, yesterday, Thursday in Algiers. Upon her arrival at “Houari Boumediene” International Airport, Ms. Bouden was received by the Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Aïmene Benabderrahmane, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community abroad, Ramtane Lamamra and the Minister of Relations with Parliament, Basma Azouar.

This visit illustrates the qualitative bilateral relations binding the two brotherly countries and the common will of the two parties to “further strengthen and diversify” cooperation.
