ALGIERS- The Council of Nation will resume, Thursday at9:30 am, its work in plenary session devoted to the vote on 2022 finance bill.
The People’s National Assembly (APN) had adopted, on November 17, the finance bill for the 2022 fiscal year (PLF 2022), after the introduction of amendments and new articles, during a plenary session, chaired by Brahim Boughali, Speaker of the body, in the presence of the Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Aïmene Benabderrahmane and a number of ministers.
According to the presentation, the PLF 2022 was drawn up on the basis of the benchmark price of 45 dollars / barrel and 50 dollars / barrel for the market price of Algerian oil “Sahara Blend”.
The Government forecasts economic growth of 3.3%, a non-hydrocarbon growth rate of 3.9% and an inflation rate of 3.7%.
The bill provides for new socio-economic provisions, including tax reforms.
The deputies of the People’s National Assembly (APN) adopted, on Wednesday, the draft Finance Bill with the introduction of several amendments.
