DUBAI- Prime Minister, Minister of Finance Aïmene Benabderrahmane, representing President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune at the opening ceremony of Dubai Air Show 2021, held at Al Maktoum International Airport, expressed, Sunday, his satisfaction with the participation of Algeria in the exhibition “Expo 2020 Dubai,” adding that the national pavilion in this global event “reflects Algeria’s forward-looking vision.”
The Algerian pavilion “reflects Algeria’s forward-looking vision, placing the regional integration and complementarity at the heart of its interests, as it is convinced of the advantages of such a collaborative vision for the development, economy and growth,” affirmed Benabderrahmane in the ceremony celebrating the National Day of Algeria at Expo 2020 Dubai.
In this respect, he stressed the importance of the Trans-Saharan project which is, he added, “a real added-value to the integration process in Africa and a real lever of development and investment in the whole region.”
The Algerian pavilion sheds light on the historical phases which show the anthropological depth of Algeria and contributes to its tourist and cultural influence, according to Benabderrahmane.
In addition to the promotion of Algeria’s image, the pavilion aims to enrich the Expo 2020 Dubai and contribute to its success, he added.
As regard the theme of the exhibition (Connecting Minds and Creating the Future), the Prime minister said that it “expresses a clear-sighted perception of the challenged facing the world,” calling for the “synergy of ideas to reach innovative solutions for a promising future, where everyone has its place and its share of the expected growth.”
Mr. Benabderrahmane hailed the organizational level of this event by the Emiratis who managed to attract millions of visitors despite the current health context.
“The organization of this exhibition in a brotherly country is a source of pride for the Arab nation,” he added.
