South African FM begins three-day official visit to Algeria

ALGIERS- South Africa’s minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Naledi Pandor, began, Friday, a three-day official visit to Algeria.

The head of South African diplomacy was received, upon her arrival at Houari Boumediene international airport, by the Minister of Health, Abderrahmane Benbouzid, the Minister of Culture and Arts, Wafaa Chaalal and the new Director-General of the Algerian agency for international cooperation, solidarity and development, Boudjemaa Delmi.

“I am here at the invitation of my colleague, Ramtane Lamamra. We are working hard to strengthen the long established relationship between Algeria and South Africa, ”Naledi Pandor said in a press statement.

“I am very happy to be here to further boost cooperation between our two countries,” she added.

Ms. Naledi Pandor will hold tomorrow, Saturday, a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra.
