Transport Ministry announces resumption of regular commercial flights towards Canada, additional flights towards Tunisia

ALGIERS- The Ministry of Transport announced the resumption of regular commercial flights to Canada (Montreal) and additional flights to Tunisia, in implementation of the decision of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and within the framework of the government’s efforts aimed at enhancing the current program of Air Algérie flights to various international destinations.

ALGIERS- The Ministry of Transport announced the resumption of regular commercial flights to Canada (Montreal) and additional flights to Tunisia, in implementation of the decision of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and within the framework of the government’s efforts aimed at enhancing the current program of Air Algérie flights to various international destinations.

According to the ministry’s statement, the resumption of regular commercial flights to Canada (Montreal) will be through three flights per week, starting from next Sunday.

As for Tunisia, two flights a week have been added, bringing the total number of flights towards this destination to three, starting from Tuesday.

The statement indicated that the number of weekly international flights will increase from 44 to 49, adding that in the context of reciprocity, foreign airlines operating in Algeria will benefit from the same number of commercial flights (49), bringing the total number of flights to and from Algeria per week to (98).
