Algeria-Tunisia: Premiers reaffirm common willingness to tighten Algeria-Tunisia cooperation

ALGIERS-Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Aimene Benabderrahmane, on Tuesday, held phone talks with his Tunisian counterpart Najla Bouden. Both sides reiterated their “common willingness” to work together to further enhance and diversify bilateral cooperation.

“The Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Mr. Aïmene Benabderrahmane, held, on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, phone talks with Mrs. Najla Bouden, head of government of the Republic of Tunisia”, indicated a press release from the Prime Minister’s Services.

Mr. Benabderrahmane addressed “his warm congratulations to the head of the Tunisian government, following the formation of the new government, while sending her his best wishes in the accomplishment of her missions”.

“The head of the Tunisian government praised the quality of bilateral relations and thanked the Prime Minister for this fraternal gesture which reflects the depth of the ties of cooperation and solidarity which unite the two countries”, added the same source.

The discussions also made it possible to reiterate “the common will of the two governments to work jointly for the reinforcement and the diversification of the Algerian-Tunisian cooperation, in particular in anticipation of the next and important bilateral meetings”, concluded the same communiqué.
