Plantation of Algeria’s tree in Belgrade: Tribute to Algiers’ role in supporting NAM

Prime Minister and minister of Finance Aïmene Benabderrahmane took part in the plantation of "Algeria's tree," in commemoration of the participation of Algeria in the works of the high-level meeting marking the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), and in recognition of its role in supporting the movement.

BELGRADE (Serbia)- Prime Minister and minister of Finance Aïmene Benabderrahmane took part, Monday afternoon, at the invitation of Prime Minister Ana Brnabic of Serbia in Belgrade, in the plantation of “Algeria’s tree,” in commemoration of the participation of Algeria in the works of the high-level meeting marking the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), and in recognition of its role in supporting the movement.

Took part in the plantation of the tree, alongside the Premier Mr. Benabderrahmane, the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo and the Serbian Prime Minister, Ana Brnabić.

The Prime Minister, Aïmene Benabderrahmane represented the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune at the work of the Commemorative Conference of the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).

He was received by the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, to whom he conveyed the greetings of President Tebboune and his congratulations for the organization of this conference, likely to further consolidate cooperation between the NAM countries.
