ALGIERS – Ms. Siham Derardja was installed, Monday in Algiers, in her new position as Chairman and CEO (CEO) of the National Publishing and Advertising Agency (ANEP), replacing Mr. Adel Kansous.
The installation ceremony was chaired by the Ministry of Communication, Ammar Belhimer, in the presence of the members of the Board of Directors of ANEP.
After congratulating the new head of ANEP, Mr. Belhimer said that this appointment, which comes after those of other companies in the sector, “meets criteria of skills, integrity and commitment to the values of the ‘Rule of law and fairness which should govern the advertising sector.
The Minister noted that “the sector imperatively needs a new paradigm which organizes advertising, namely the use of public procurement in the sector”, stressing “the need to orient the public resource towards the supports and the levers that allow the message to get to where it needs to get “.
For her part, the new head of ANEP, is committed to “move towards excellence in management” and “to breathe new life into the company”.
A graduate of the Institute of Customs and Tax Economics, Ms. Derardja has held several positions of responsibility, notably an executive at the General Inspectorate of Finance, and Inspector General of the National Housing Fund.
She has also held the positions of Administrative and Financial Director of the Government Electronic Certification Authority, and Director of Management and Audit at ANEP.
