ALGIERS- Minister of Interior, Local Communities and Urban Development, Kamel Beldjoud, accompanied by the Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, started, Tuesday, an official visit to Niger, as part of “strengthening bilateral cooperation relations.”
A joint statement of the Ministries of Interior, Local Communities and Urban Development, and Energy and Mines indicated that the visit is part of strengthening bilateral cooperation relations between Algeria and Niger.
“Ways and means to support security cooperation and the movement of people, as well as prospects for developing border areas, as well as the exchange of experiences in the field of training, will be at the heart of the discussions during the visit.
The visit, also, constitutes an opportunity to discuss issues related to the field of energy and mines, such as; joint projects in the field of hydrocarbons and energy services, as well as cooperation in the field of electricity supply.
