Algeria sends humanitarian aid to Niger

ALGIERS- Algeria, on Wednesday, sent humanitarian aid containing tents and a generator aboard a military aircraft from Boufarik air base to the secondary deployment air base located in the operational sector of In Guezzam, announced the National Defence Ministry.

Humanitarian aid containing tents and a generator were sent, on Wednesday, to Niger aboard a military plane from Boufarik air base to the secondary deployment air base located in the operational sector of In Guezzam. The shipment is the second of its kind following the humanitarian aid containing tents and food products transported by land and delivered to the Nigerien authorities at the borders.

“In recognition of the principles of cooperation and humanitarian solidarity with the various brotherly and friendly countries, a cargo of humanitarian aid was sent, on September 13, 2021, aboard a military plane from the Boufarik air base to the secondary deployment air base located in the operational sector of In Guezzam, containing tents and a generator, ”the statement read.

“This operation testifies, once again, to the support of the People’s National Army (ANP) in all humanitarian initiatives and its permanent commitment to accomplish its noble missions”, concluded the source.
