ALGIERS- President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, offered his sincere condolences to the families of the victims of the fatal traffic accident that took place, Sunday, in the province of Naama, leaving, in the latest assessment, 12 people dead and seven seriously injured.
The President of the Republic wrote on his official account on Twitter: “How painful and sad it is that Algeria loses its sons in tragic accidents, such as the one occurred in Khabaza region of Naama.”
He added, “My sincere condolences to the families of the victims and my best wishes for a quick recovery to the wounded. We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return”.
The accident occurred following a collision between a tractor-trailer and a passenger transport minibus activating on the Sidi Bel Abbes-Boussemghoune line (wilaya of El-Bayadh), on the national road (RN) 6, at a locality Oued Khebaza (20 km north of the city of Mecheria).
