ALGIERS- The Annexed School “Abane Ramdhane” from the Military Academy of Cherchell “late President Houari Boumediene”, hosted, Saturday 28th August 2021, the “100 meters shooting” event, said a statement from the National Defense Ministry.
The competition was supervised by the Commander of the Military Academy of Cherchell, with the presence of the Head of the Military Sports Service from the Department of Employment and Preparation of the People’s National Army’s General Staff, heads of foreign delegations and military executives.
“Within the framework of the international military dog-training competition “True Friend -2021”, the Annexed School “Abane Ramdhane” from the Military Academy of Cherchell “late President Houari Boumediene”, hosted, Saturday 28th August 2021, the “100 meters shooting” event. The competition was supervised by the Commander of the Military Academy of Cherchell, with the presence of the Head of the Military Sports Service from the Department of Employment and Preparation of the People’s National Army’s General Staff, heads of foreign delegations and military executives,” read the statement.
It saw the participation of three (03) female teams: the national military team, the Russian team and the Uzbek team, alongside (05) male teams representing: the national military team, the Russian team, the Belarusian team, the Uzbek team and the Vietnamese team. They competed in the Kalashnikov machine pistol shooting event at a distance of 100 meters, through various positions.
