ALGIERS- Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamra examined, in a phone call, with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu means and ways to strengthen the friendship and cooperation relations between, Algeria and Turkey by the exchange of high-level visits and the consolidation of consultation and coordination traditions on issues of common interest.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Mr. Ramtane Lamamra examined, in a phone call with the Turkish MFA, the ways and means of strengthening relations of friendship and cooperation between Algeria and Turkey through the exchange of high-level visits and the consolidation of traditions of consultation and coordination on issues of common interest.

“During a telephone call with my counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, we affirmed our common determination to strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation between Algeria and Turkey through the exchange of high-level visits, and the consolidation of the tradition of consultation and coordination on issues of common interest, “wrote the Algerian head of diplomacy Thursday in a tweet.

Meanwhile, Ramtane Lamamra discussed, in a phone call, with the United Nations Special Envoy for Libya Jan Kubis the latest developments in the political process aimed at ending the crisis in this brotherly country, reiterating Algeria’s support for UN efforts and its full readiness to support the national reconciliation project with the cooperation of the African Union.
