Covid-19: Latest figures in Algeria, July 14

ALGIERS – 914 new confirmed Coronavirus cases, 598 recoveries and 15 deaths were recorded in Algeria during the last 24 hours, according to Ministry of Health, Population and Hospital Reform’ statement issued Wednesday afternoon.

Ministry of Health, Population and Hospital Reform stressed on the fact that the current situation of the pandemic requires citizens to be vigilant and to respect rules of hygiene.

A military aircraft landed, on Sunday evening, at Boufarik airbase (province of Blida) carrying one million six hundred thousand doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccine from the Popular Republic of China, announced the National Defence Ministry in a communiqué.

“As part of continued efforts to fight against the Coronavirus, a military aircraft landed on Sunday evening at Boufarik airbase (province of Blida/1st Military Region) carrying one million six hundred thousand doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccine from the Popular Republic of China,” said the source.

This operation confirms, once again, that the People’s National Army (ANP) “is always ready to fulfill its missions, answer the call of the fatherland and serve the Algerian people in all circumstances,” added the ministry’s communiqué.

Noting that more than four million doses of vaccines will be received by Algeria during the month of July.
