Justice/ Fatal traffic accident in Ain Naadja: Defendant sentenced

Hussein Dey tribunal (Algiers) issued on Monday, a three-year imprisonment sentence and a fine of 100,000 dinars against the man who caused the traffic accident that killed a young man who was changing the wheel of his car on the southern highway in Ain Naadja.

The same tribunal, also, suspended the defendant’s driver’s license for four years.

The defendant, Nasri Abdellah, born in 1998, was charged with the misdemeanors of “manslaughter” and “escaping following a traffic accident and evading criminal and civil responsibility” after he fled after the accident.

The same tribunal had, earlier, requested the same sentence for the defendant.
