President Tebboune receives African Union special envoy for African Medicines Agency

Algiers- President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune received, Thursday, the African Union special envoy for the African Medicines Agency, Michel Sidibe, who is on an official working visit to Algeria, the presidency of the Republic wrote in a statement.

The source added that “after the Special Envoy reviewed the progress made in the process of activating this important African body, considered one of the most important means of developing and coordinating health policies at the continental level, the President affirmed Algeria’s readiness to provide support to this agency, provide capabilities for it, and for the agency to be located in Algeria, given Algeria’s rich experience in the field of health and pharmaceutical industry.
