ALGIERs- Former Algerian Minister of Finance Abderrahmane Benkhalfa died, today, Friday, April 23, at the age of 71, due to complications from his infection with Covid-19.

ALGIERS- Former Algerian Minister of Finance Abderrahmane Benkhalfa died, today, Friday, April 23, at the age of 71, due to complications from his infection with Covid-19.

Abderrahmane Benkhalfa, born in June 2, 1949 in Tiaret, holds a doctorate in Management Sciences, and graduated from the University of Grenoble.

Late Abderrahmane Benkhalfa held, during his rich career, many high raking positions in Algeria and abroad, such as; Minister of Finance ( between May 14, 2015 and June 11, 2016), Secretary General of the Association of Maghreb Banks and lastly the position of Special Envoy of the African Union.
