Algeria withdraws from MENA customs regional meeting

ALGIERS- The Algerian delegation withdrew from the MENA Heads of Customs regional meeting due to the presentation of maps showing the annexation of the territory of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) to Morocco, said, Tuesday, the Directorate General of Customs in a statement.

“The Algerian delegation participating in the regional meeting of directors general of customs for North Africa, the Near and Middle East (MENA), withdrew from the session, due to the presentation of maps showing the annexation of the territory of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) to the Moroccan region, ”the statement read.
