Algerian exports to Mauritania hike by 205% in Q1 of 2021

ALGIERS- Algerian exports to Mauritania soared by 205% during the first quarter of 2021 compared to the same period in 2020, the General Directorate of Customs (DGD) said on Monday.

The DGD recorded a total of 111 export operations to Mauritania via the Mustapha Benboulaid border post (Tindouf), during the period between January and March 2021, a customs statement added.

Export operations at this border post have recorded an increase of more than 113%, compared to the first quarter of 2020, concluded the same source.
