Weather alert: Strong winds, gusting up to 50 km / h, sand blowing and poor visibility

ALGIERS- Strong gusty winds, exceeding 50 km / h, are expected to blow, today, Saturday, April 3rd, 2021, accompanied with sand blowing and poor visibility along different southern provinces of the country, indicated the National Meteorological Office in a special weather bulletin (BMS).

According to the same report, the concerned provinces are: : Adrar, Ouargla, Tindouf, Al Menea, Bani Abbas, Timimoun, Ain Saleh.

Bulletin validity: From 09:00 a.m till 06:00 p.m.

As long as winds’ speed is concerned, it will exceed 50km / h, with sandstorms, causing vision difficulties, highlighted the same source.
