ALGIERS- Prof. Ammar Belhimer, Minister of Communication, Government spokesperson was honored by the Saharawi Minister of Information, for his efforts and his unfailing commitment towards the Saharawi people in their quest for independence and sovereignty over all its territories occupied militarily and illegally by Morocco.
Just like the official Algerian position, clear and unchanged on the Saharawi question, Algerian journalists, too, are trying very hard to convey to the whole world “the suffering” of a people caught in the clutches of the Moroccan colonist.

“The Saharawi people, who still suffer from the occupation and the systematic repression and patiently resist the tyranny of the Moroccan occupier, pays a great homage to you and the valiant Algerian people and leaders at the head of which, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune ”, wrote the President Sahraoui, Ibrahim Ghali, in his message addressed to the journalists on the occasion of the national day of the Algerian press, celebrated on October 22 each year.
“On this key day, I would like to present, on behalf of the Saharawi people and government and on my own behalf, the warmest congratulations to all the Algerian journalists and bloggers who have accompanied and are accompanying us in our struggle for freedom and sovereignty of the occupied part of our national territory, ”he added.
