Premier Abdélaziz Djerrad, on Tuesday, highlighted, today, Tuesday, March, 02nd, 2021, the need to redirect the focus
in favor of start-ups being the spearhead of the new economic model that Algeria aims to promote “to get out of the old corrupt and outdated quia lasted two decades ”
At the official inauguration of “The Establishment for Promotion and Management of Support Structures for Start-ups”, the Prime Minister underlined that “the start-up sector constitutes one of the priorities of the presidential program to bring about the emergence of a new economic model backed by technology, and the knowledge economy ”
In order to promote the emergence of these start-ups, the Prime Minister espressed the government’s determination to provide logistical and financial support and a management method based on international performance and competitiveness standards.
Abdelaziz Djerrad highlighted the will of the authorities to promote “renewable energies to make Algeria a pole of excellence in Africa in the matter”, adding that “Algeria is facing major economic, social and environmental challenges which now require support within the framework of public policies on the knowledge and innovation economy “.
