“Mobile Film Festival Africa”: Algeria participates in virtual festival

The short film “Manjich” (I will not come) by Algerian director, Mustapha Benghernaout, participates in the first edition of the virtual French festival “Mobile Film Festival Africa”, which will run until March 17, according to the electronic site of the festival.

This short film (70 seconds), devoted to the question of illegal emigration, is available on the official platform of the festival and its official pages on social networks.

A total of 51 films representing 23 African countries on different themes, including women, human rights, the environment and the Covid-19 pandemic, are in competition during this festival, whose objective is to find new talent in the field of filmmaking and encourage them to make films on their own.

This festival is dedicated to the making of short films, via Smartphones, lasting from one (1) to two minutes, the same source specified, adding that the prizes will be awarded next March in Tunisia. Born in 1987 in Mostaganem, the self-taught director Benghernaout has participated in several international competitions and festivals and obtained several awards. The “Mobile Film Festival Africa” , which is the new concept of the international short film festival “Mobile Film Festival”, was created in 2005 by a French director.
