Algiers’ court judge upheld, today, Sunday, feb 21st, 2021, the sentences handed down against the former prime ministers, Abdelmalek Sellel and Ahmed Ouyahia and the former minister, Abdelghani Zaalene, prosecuted for corruption in the case of ” GB Pharma ”.
As such, Algiers’ court judge delivered his verdict in the appeal trial of the “GB Pharma” case, confirming the sentences handed down against the former prime ministers, Abdelmalek Sellel and Ahmed Ouyahia and the former minister, Abdelghani Zaalene, prosecuted for corruption in the case of ” GB Pharma ” and sentenced to 5-year prison term for both ex- premiers.
In this vein, he, also, pronounced the seizure of the confiscated objects stated in the report of the Supreme Court.
On the other hand, the judge acquitted the former minister of transport and public works, and campaign manager of ex-president Bouteflika, Abdelghani Zaâlene.
Noting that Ouyahia and Sellel are accused of granting undue privileges to the Condor group and its subsidiaries, and facilities for the construction of a “GB Pharma” drug manufacturing plant.
